DESCRIPTION: the project consists in several interventions in the Municipality of Gattinara: realization of a diversion system for the Roggia Molinara flows, by means of a intake basin. The water is conveyed in a undergound penstock (3,8 km long with a inner diameter of 2.200 mm) and ends in a new hydroelectric power plant (Francis turbine – power of the plant: 1,0MW). Average production of energy per year: 7.2×106 kWh/year.

DESCRIPTION: the project consists in the construction of an Excellence Centre for the rice processing drying, stockpiling, processing; research and development activities) to get a regional “Product of Excellence”: the Baraggia’s Rice. The centre includes a drying and stockpiling plant (250.000 quintal/year capacity), a biomass combustion plant (5,0 MW power with an energy production of 40×106 kWh/year) and a rice mill processing and marketing 500.000 q/year of rice.

TITLE: CONSTRUCTION OF A BIOGAS POWER PLANT USING THE CORN PRODUCED IN THE INGAGNA MAIZE AREA
DESCRIPTION: the project consists in the construction of a 1,0 MW biogas power plant. The biogas is produced using the corn grown in the agricultural area irrigated by the Ingagna torrent and reservoir. The plant will produce 8.000.000 kWh of electric energy as well as 5.000.000 kWh of thermal energy.
